Funny that
day 24
reminds me
of the show
I loved
so much

no longer
airing
who knows
why
So many
great
shows
gone
My favorite
shows
gone
Oh how
I loved
thee

This morning
at 7:45

was a cup
for my drug

to get me
fully awake.
I opened
the door
stepped into
the kitchen
and something
on the floor
something in
Pern’s bowl
something there
caught my eye.
Little legs
slightly moving
making not
a squeak
the mouse
floated
awaiting its
rescue
but not
by me

still hear
what the heart
still knows

Mixed feelings , “mixed up” in something,

was broken
